Rogozin was taken to a hospital in Rostov-on-Don

The former head of Roskosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, was taken from Donetsk to a clinical hospital in Rostov-on-Don. About it informs TASS with reference to Rogozin’s assistant.

It is noted that together with the ex-head of the state corporation, two more victims were brought to the Rostov region during the shelling of the Donetsk Armed Forces.

“Dmitry Rogozin and two other victims of the Ukrainian shelling of the hotel were taken from Donetsk to the Military Clinical Hospital of Rostov-on-Don. Now an examination is being carried out and the necessary medical care is being provided, ”the source said.

The assistant added that several more wounded military advisers still remain in the DPR hospitals, their condition is stabilized, but so far the doctors have not approved their transportation.

Ukrainian military fired upon hotel in Donetsk, where the ex-head of Roskosmos was staying, on December 22. In addition to Rogozin, DPR government chairman Vitaly Khotsenko, Gorlovka mayor Ivan Prikhodko and their entourage were also injured.

Later Rogozin appreciated his condition as satisfactory. He specified that he would have to undergo an operation, as a 3×4 mm metal fragment had entered above the right shoulder blade. At the same time, according to the doctors’ preliminary assessment, the fragment of the mine cannot be removed.

Commenting on the incident, the Kremlin noted that being in some areas of the DPR, LPR and other territories is still dangerous. In the same time, added Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, these conditions should not prevent officials from “performing their functions.”

Rogozin has been in the special operation zone since October. On October 24, he confirmed that he was on the front line in the Zaporozhye region. Rogozin took the call sign “Cosmos”.
