Rogozin said that the past leadership of Roscosmos knew about corruption in the corporation

The former head of Roskosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, after reports of the arrest in absentia of the ex-head of the Khrunichev Center Andrei Kalinovsky, who is accused of fraud, considered it necessary to speak out on this matter.

According to Rogozin, the leadership of Roskosmos was aware of Kalinovsky’s corruption schemes.

He noted that the Kommersant publication refers to Kalinovsky misleading the leadership of Roscosmos from 2014 to 2017.

“Come on,” Rogozin wrote on his Telegram channel.

He added that he was “sure” that “everyone who oversaw the activities of the Khrunichev Center and its procurement at the head office of Roscosmos knew everything.”

Rogozin himself became the head of the state corporation in 2018. Before him, Roscosmos was headed by Igor Komarov (2015-2018).

“Why do we hang noodles?” continued Dmitry Rogozin. “If we want to cut out the cancerous tumor of corruption, the investigation cannot be stopped at Kalinovsky and Co.”

Earlier it was reported that a court in Moscow arrested Kalinovsky in absentia, who, being under house arrest on charges of fraud, left for Cyprus and did not return.

The investigation believes that the former head of the Khrunichev Center influenced the conclusion of unfavorable contracts for the Center for 393.6 million rubles. There was no need to buy equipment to replace what was already there. And only minor components of the equipment and its equipment were replaced.

The case against Kalinouski has been under investigation since 2021, and now he has been put on the international wanted list.

Kalinovsky, after resigning from the post of head of the Khrunichev Center, which he held from 2014 to 2017, moved to Roskosmos as the executive director for quality assurance and reliability of the state corporation. I worked there until 2018.
