The former head of Roskosmos Dmitry Rogozin commented on the New Year’s address of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov, in which he predicted the Russians a new wave of mobilization and the closure of borders.
Rogozin in his Telegram channel named Reznikov’s appeal is impudent and defiant, as well as requiring an answer or assessment. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine announced the threat of mobilization and called on the Russians “to refuse to defend their country and distance themselves from the Russian authorities,” writes the ex-head of the state corporation.
“However, despite the propaganda thoughtfulness and refinement of a number of theses, Reznikov makes a mistake at the end of his speech. The hatred for the Russians and Russia, which permeates this entire brazen killer, who is directly responsible for the barbaric shelling of the civilian population of Donbass and the border regions of Russia, his overflowing emotions led to the fact that the Minister of Defense of Ukraine in this speech could not resist intimidating all Russians inevitable retribution. Like, several generations of our citizens will have to pay reparations to Ukrainians,” Rogozin said.
In his opinion, “the Russians have something to object to the leaders of Ukrainianism,” and the “deep people” want to put an end to the modern “Bandera and Petliurites” as soon as possible. In Russia, no one is going to “give a single ruble” to Kyiv, Rogozin is convinced. He added that this “just war” must be ended, and it will end with the victory of Russia.
“As for Kyiv, where all these Reznikovs are sitting, we will take it,” he said.
In early December, the Kremlin called reports of a new wave of mobilization “provocative” and urged to focus on the statements of the Ministry of Defense and the President. There is no need for a new wave of mobilization in Russia, this topic is not on the agenda, spoke then Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko. No additional documents on the completion of partial mobilization in Russia were signed by the head of state. Russian President Vladimir Putin promised to discuss this issue with lawyers, noting that he did not think about the need to sign a separate decree on the completion of partial mobilization. Later, the Kremlin reported that this document was not needed.
