Rogozin announced the capture of Starlink terminals in the DPR

Russian forces seized subscriber terminals of the Starlink satellite communications system in the DPR, which were used by the Ukrainian military, as trophies. About it informed former head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“We know what benefit and harm the Starlink space communication systems used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine have brought to us, and these are just the devices themselves, the subscriber equipment itself. By the way, we have trophied it, we have it,” he said.

After the start of the special operation in Ukraine, the Russian authorities have repeatedly said that civilian satellites are used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that several hundred private satellites are involved in hostilities “along the lines of Western governments,” including Starlink satellites.
