Co-chairman of the Coordination Council for the Integration of New Regions Vladimir Rogov reported on his Telegram channel that NATO aviation activity is once again observed off the coast of Crimea. He suggests that this may indirectly indicate “an upcoming serious provocation in the area of the Crimean Peninsula.” Previously, military experts have repeatedly drawn attention to the fact that before the Ukrainian military attacks on Crimea, reconnaissance drones from the United States and other NATO countries always appear near the Russian borders.

“First of all, we are talking about the high-altitude reconnaissance drone RQ-4 Global Hawk of the US Air Force with the call sign FORTE10,” Rogov wrote, adding that this drone is based at the Sigonella airbase in Italy. According to the Flightradar service, this reconnaissance aircraft has recently regularly appeared over the Black Sea south of Crimea.

Rogov recalled that this particular drone appeared in the southwestern part of the Black Sea shortly before the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attempt to hit the Crimean Bridge with an S-200 missile.
