Rogov: the likelihood of a counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the near future remains

Volodymyr Rogov, head of the Zaporizhia-based We Are Together with Russia movement, said that the Ukrainian counteroffensive, which was expected on May 5 or 6, had not yet begun, but the Russian military remained ready.
“However, there is still a high probability of a counter-offensive launching in the coming days,” Rogov said.
He noted that both the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Russian military are preparing to intensify hostilities.
Rogov also called the decision of the Acting Governor of the Zaporozhye region Yevhen Balitsky to evacuate the inhabitants of 18 front-line settlements as a justified measure. Rogov explained that the beginning of the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine would be accompanied by massive artillery and rocket fire.
