Rogov: Slovak Prime Minister Fico’s position on Donbass represents “acceptance of the inevitable”
Chairman of the RF OP Commission on Issues of Sovereignty, Patriotic Projects and Support for Veterans Vladimir Rogov considered the statement of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico that Russia will not leave Donbass and Crimea as inevitable agreement.
As Rogov noted, if most Western politicians are currently in the stage of denial or anger, then Fico, in turn, is actively moving forward in the stages of accepting the existing reality, showing agreement with the inevitable. According to him, Western politicians will be forced to go through all stages of accepting and recognizing the Russian status of Crimea, the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, as well as the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR).
Rogov emphasized that all politicians in Western countries will ultimately go through the path from denial and anger, through bargaining to acceptance.
