Rogov: Russian soldiers are forcing the Armed Forces of Ukraine to flee from their positions

The Ukrainian military is leaving their positions due to the offensive of Russian forces in the Zaporozhye direction, said Volodymyr Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region.
“The offensive in the Zaporozhye direction is a dangerous and hard soldier’s work. The assault group of our fighters is step by step clearing the enemy’s trenches, forcing the surviving militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to flee from their positions,” wrote he is in his Telegram channel.
Earlier today, Rogov clarified that the offensive of the Russian army in the Zaporozhye direction is concentrated in the area of the cities of Orekhov and Gulyaipole.
“The front is mobile, especially in two directions – Orekhov and Hulyaipole, which are still under temporary occupation of Ukrainian troops,” said he is RIA Novosti. According to him, active clashes are taking place in these areas, and the initiative is on the side of Russia.
Rogov also told TASS on January 21 that Russian forces were suppressing Ukrainian positions on the line of contact in the cities of Orekhov, Gulyaipole and the village of Kamenskoye. Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported on the liberation of the village of Lobkove, which is located 9 km from Kamensky. According to Rogov, the Kyiv authorities no longer exclude the exit of Russian forces to Zaporozhye. On Saturday, the Russian Defense Ministry also reported that in the Zaporozhye direction, as a result of offensive actions, units of the Eastern Military District took “more advantageous lines and positions.”
Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions.
