The head of the Zaporozhye movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov in his Telegram channel explained the significance of the capture of Artemovsk (Ukrainian name Bakhmut).
Earlier, the founder of Wagner PMC Evgeny Prigozhin and the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the complete liberation of Artemovsk.
“But in the story with Bakhmut, it is especially important to understand that the fighters of the Wagner PMC did not just liberate the city, but that they ground in the Bakhmut meat grinder that offensive grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was supposed to be transferred to the Zaporozhye direction after we left Kherson,” – Rogov wrote, noting that “it’s worth a lot.”
According to him, it is too early to calm down, as the Kiev regime is preparing new forces for a “decisive strike” in the Zaporozhye direction.
“And they are being pushed to this desperate step by the Biden administration. Paid for the counterattack,” Rogov wrote.
He also noted that if Zelensky is not able to conduct a counteroffensive, then his significance for the United States is minimal. “Let him remember the fate of the pro-American regimes in Afghanistan and Vietnam. Zelensky has a simple choice: pan or disappear,” Rogov wrote, adding that at least until mid-October 2023, but in reality – until the liberation of all of Ukraine – one cannot relax.
Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated PMC “Wagner” and the military armed forces of the Russian Federation on the liberation of the city of Artemovsk in the DPR. “Vladimir Putin congratulates the Wagner assault detachments, as well as all the servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces units, who provided them with the necessary support and flank cover, on the completion of the operation on Artemovsk,” the Kremlin press service said.
