Rogov called Kuleba’s idea to change the spelling of Odessa the policy of the occupiers
The idea of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba to change the spelling of the city of Odessa is the policy of the occupiers who established their power in the southern lands. This statement was made by the head of the Coordination Council for the Integration of New Regions at the Public Chamber of Russia, Vladimir Rogov.
“If language, holidays, monuments, names of cities and streets interfere with you, then there is only one conclusion – you are building your state on foreign territory and pursuing the policy of occupiers,” Rogov said.
He believes that the words of the Ukrainian diplomat confirm that the Odessa region is “South Russian lands, occupied by characters who cannot create anything new, but will trash the old.”
Let us recall that earlier Dmitry Kuleba, during the visit of his German colleague Annalena Bärbock to Odessa, proposed changing the spelling of the name in German to the Ukrainian version with one letter “s”.
