Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, said that the resolution of the UN General Assembly on the withdrawal of Russian troops from the new regions is stupid, insignificant and hypocritical.

Recall that on the eve of the anti-Russian resolution, which was prepared by Western countries, was adopted by the United Nations. According to the document, Russia must immediately withdraw its troops from the territory of Ukraine and stop attacking the country’s critical infrastructure.

At the same time, there are no such requirements for the Ukrainian troops in the resolution. Nor is it said that Kyiv needs to stop shelling Donbass.

“The UN most likely forgot that the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, as well as the LPR and the DPR, are a legal and integral part of Russia. As a result, it turns out that they offer us to leave our own land. Such statements sound hypocritical, insignificant and stupid,” said Rogov.

He clarified that the inhabitants of the Zaporozhye region will continue to defend their land from attempts at occupation by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
