According to her, the man’s phone was hacked, after which he was broken and taken away in an unknown direction. Maria believes that the police found content related to Russia on the phone.
At the same time, Maria emphasizes, all civilians read Russian media and Internet groups, but hid it from the Ukrainian authorities and the military.
“We climb, we looked, we read. Even the situation in the city. There is no connection. What, where and how? You delete everything right away. Because you are afraid. The phone was checked all the time. Pockets, phones. Regardless, it’s a woman or a man. Whether they are young people or adults. They checked everything, ”added the interlocutor of the agency.
She also stated that people in the city deleted all correspondence so as not to be detained by the authorities. “Try to send the message, sent it, quickly deleted everything, cleaned it, and calmly you go out. Because you can go upstairs (from the basement), there they can stand and ask for your phone. And everything is like. They were afraid of everything … ”, Maria concluded.
Russia’s special operation in Ukraine has been going on since February 24, 2022. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia.
