RIA Novosti: Russian special forces in Ukraine received Chukavin sniper rifles

The new Chukavin semi-automatic sniper rifles (SVCh), developed by the Kalashnikov concern, entered service with the special forces of the Russian army stationed in Ukraine. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to a source in the military-industrial complex.
“The special operation forces have been supplied with a batch of Chukavin sniper rifles for testing in combat conditions of the special military operation being carried out in Ukraine. The first reviews of the new rifle complex were positive, ”the source of the agency explained, adding that the units received rifles chambered for 7.62 by 54 mm.
In mid-August, Kalashnikov President Alan Lushnikov informedthat the Russian armed forces will receive a microwave and a PPK-20 submachine gun in 2022. Then he added that the PPK-20 concern is considered “the best submachine gun in the world for the next 20 years.”
