RIA Novosti, citing informed sources, reported that mini-drones have been developed for the Russian fifth-generation fighter Su-57. The plane will carry them on board.
It will be clarified that specialists have developed and created mini-drones for various purposes. The fighter will be able to carry them on an external sling and in the intra-fuselage compartment.
“The release will take place in the air. It is planned that the Su-57 will simultaneously launch several such devices and control this entire group of UAVs,” the source noted.
According to him, the fighter will carry electronic warfare drones, as well as attack and reconnaissance drones. Mini-UAVs will help fighters break through enemy air defenses.
