RIA Novosti learned about plans to optimize electronic warfare to suppress the F-16 radar

Russian electronic warfare systems used in the special operation zone will be optimized to suppress the radar stations of F-16 fighters. About it reports RIA Novosti, citing a source familiar with the situation.

According to the interlocutor, after optimization, suppressing the F-16 for Russian electronic warfare systems “will be easier than the Soviet-designed aircraft that Ukraine has.”

On August 17, Washington approved the supply of F-16s to Ukraine from Denmark and the Netherlands. In particular, Denmark announced its readiness to transfer 19 fighters. Later, Norway announced plans to provide Ukraine with F-16s.

Before receiving fighter jets, the Ukrainian military must undergo training. On August 22, it became known that Ukrainian Armed Forces pilots would be trained to fly the F-16 started Denmark.
