RIA Novosti: Bild readers were pleased with Germany’s fatal mistake in Ukraine

Readers of the German newspaper Bild reacted positively to the news about the malfunction of the Panzerhaubitze 2000 howitzers that Berlin sent to Ukraine, RIA Novosti writes and cites several comments from readers.
Many of them called the incident a “sign” for the end of hostilities, the agency said.
One of the users put “five” to the German leadership and wrote that these howitzers “will not be able to kill people”
“Great news! Every defect saves lives, ”the agency quoted another commentator as saying.
A third wrote that this was a fatal but “so necessary” mistake. This user believes that Berlin has shown “how to boycott the war.” He noted that Germany “does not have weapons and money for the war”, therefore, “it is necessary to strive for the conclusion of peace.”
Earlier, the media reported that the German Panzerhaubitze 2000 howitzers supplied to the Ukrainian army cannot fire due to a lack of spare parts.
The Russian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly stated that Western countries that support the Kyiv regime become a party to the conflict, and any shipments with weapons for Ukraine will become a legitimate target for the Russian Federation. The Kremlin noted that pumping Ukraine with weapons does not contribute to the success of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations and will have a negative effect.
