RFU extends contract with national team coach Valery Karpin

The Russian Football Union has extended the contract with the head coach of the Russian national football team Valery Karpin.
As reported on the website of the organization, Karpin and his assistants will continue to work with the national team until August 1, 2024. At the same time, the possibility of further combining the work of specialists at the club level was also agreed. Recall that Valery Karpin is also the head coach of the Rostov club.
“Valery Georgievich is an experienced coach who knows how not only to create successful teams, but also to develop players,” said RFU President Alexander Dyukov, adding that the federation positively assesses the results of Karpin’s work.
