The Russian Foundation for the Development of Information Technologies (RFRIT) has started accepting applications in pilot mode for co-financing the promotion of Russian IT products on the Internet, Maxim Parshin, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Digital Development, said at a webinar on supporting Russian IT projects. According to Parshin, the program will be fully operational in October. “RFRIT’s new product is the promotion of Russian products on the Internet. The point is that the promotion of software and solutions in the Russian segment of the Internet is co-financed. Now the pilot is coming. The priority is products that were created within the framework of state support, but not necessarily,” he explained. Parshin emphasized that anyone who has a product that is potentially designed for the mass consumer and needs to be promoted “through electronic platforms, search engines and other tools” can apply to RFRIT.

Parshin explained that the state can compensate up to 1 million rubles. expenses, in total, almost 1.5 billion rubles were allocated for the program. The Deputy Minister added that after the pilot regime, the indicators can be clarified. The term for consideration of applications will be 30 days.

Several platforms will be available to promote IT products – “Yandex”, Vkontakte, myTraget, IVI.ru, Cnews industry portal and Vedomosti newspaper.
