Revenue of non-oil and gas large and medium-sized businesses grew by 0.4% in January-April

The revenue of large and medium enterprises of the Russian Federation, not related to the oil and gas industry, amounted to 52.8 trillion rubles. It grew by 0.4% in the first four months of 2023 in annual terms, according to Rosstat, the audit and consulting company FinExpertiza. Oil and gas sector revenue decreased by 27.4%.

Nominal growth was observed in most non-oil and gas industries.

Which industries showed the highest growth in revenue:

• transportation and storage — RUB 932.2 billion;
• electric power industry – 424.6 billion rubles;
• professional and scientific activities — 277.6 billion rubles;
• construction — 163.2 billion rubles;
• information and communication – 117.6 billion rubles.

Revenue decreased at manufacturing enterprises (842.2 billion rubles), miners of coal and metal ores (553.8 billion rubles), in the field of personal services (35 billion rubles), wholesale and retail trade (29.6 billion rubles). .), in healthcare and social services (1.3 billion rubles).

The non-commodity sector increased its turnover in more than half of the regions. The highest growth was recorded in the Rostov region (124.4 billion rubles), Krasnodar region (110.1 billion rubles), Primorsky region (93.5 billion rubles), Tyumen region (75.5 billion rubles) and Nizhny Novgorod regions (72.8 billion rubles). Most of all, the revenue of large and medium-sized businesses fell in the Kemerovo region (476.9 billion rubles), the Murmansk region (124.1 billion rubles) and the Vologda region (113.3 billion rubles).

Non-oil and gas GDP in the first quarter of 2023 fully recovered, exceeding the level of the same period last year by 1.3%, informed in June Rosstat. Non-oil and gas revenues of the federal budget in January-June grew up by 17.8% year-on-year, while oil and gas revenues fell by 47%.
