Reuters: US declassifies report on Russia’s “secret financing” of other countries

The US authorities have declassified part of their intelligence report on the “secret political financing” of other states by Russia, writes Reuters with reference to a high-ranking representative of the US presidential administration.
Allegedly, since 2014, Moscow has spent over $300 million to increase its influence abroad.
According to US intelligence, the funds were sent to foreign parties, politicians and officials in more than 20 countries around the world. The Americans declined to name specific countries.
