At the end of August 2018, when the fundraising was announced, the restoration was estimated at 46 million rubles.
An 18-ton statue of citizen Kuzma Minin and Prince Dmitry Pozharsky is the first monumental sculptural monument erected in Moscow in 1818 (in the presence of Emperor Alexander I). Restoration work on the monument was carried out in 1964 and 1967.
