Forecasters warned of tornadoes over the sea in Sochi from the Magri microdistrict to the village of Veseloye in the Adler region. This was reported by the administration’s press service.
“According to meteorologists, until the end of the day on November 28, there is a danger of tornadoes forming over the sea in the Magri-Veseloye section,” the mayor’s office said.
Earlier, the region was hit by hail, showers and a hurricane. Due to bad weather, authorities issued a storm warning.
City services were mobilized in case of weather-related disasters, and citizens were advised to observe basic safety measures. According to the forecast of Kuban meteorologists, snowfall will fall in the Sochi mountains.
