The evacuated residents of the city of Shebekino in the Belgorod region will be released from rent until they return home, the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov wrote on his telegram channel
“From June 1, all residents who left their homes will not pay rent until they return home,” he wrote.
He also indicated that employees of the budgetary, municipal or regional spheres will receive wages by June 2 and 5, respectively. As for employees in the education sector, the plans are to pay them funds by June 9.
According to Gladkov, pension payments will also be made ahead of schedule, regardless of the terms of accrual in June. He also described the regulations for obtaining medicines for persons classified as beneficiaries.
The governor also said that until June 30, auto and railway communication will be suspended in the Shebekino district. Public transport routes passing through Shebekino will be carried out through Novy Oskol and Volokonovka.
Earlier on Friday, the government of the Belgorod region announced the introduction of a ban until June 30 on the movement of vehicles on a number of roads in the Shebekinsky district. Gladkov during the day several times reported on the shelling of the city and nearby settlements, as well as on the wounded and dead. Gladkov also said that residents of the city of Shebekino, Belgorod Region, would not yet be allowed to return home. He noted that while the city is not safe, and acknowledged that there is a danger of looting.
