Peskov spoke about the preparation of Putin’s speech at SPIEF

Russian President Vladimir Putin will speak at the upcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), a plenary session with the participation of the head of state will definitely take place, the date and other details will be announced later, said the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.
Journalists asked Peskov if there was any understanding of when the plenary session with Putin’s participation would take place at SPIEF.
“There will definitely be a plenary session with the participation of the president. We will let you know when [оно пройдет]who will lead. All details will be provided to you in a timely manner. Now all this is being prepared. There will be a long-awaited speech by Putin on SPIEF. Every time for the world of economics, politics, trade and economic landmarks of Russia, this is a very important speech, which is now being prepared, ”Peskov replied.
The fact that Putin will take part in person in the SPIEF plenary session on June 16, earlier informed Peskov.
This year, SPIEF will be held for the 26th time, it will take place from 14 to 17 June. Earlier it became known that participation in the event will accept Syrian Finance Minister Kenan Yagi. Also visit of Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz announced Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
In 2022, SPIEF was held from 15 to 18 June. The event became an anniversary – SPIEF took place for the 25th time. As the organizers noted, 14,000 people from 131 countries took part in the event. On the final day of the forum, the amount of agreements concluded reached 5.6 trillion rubles.
