Residents of Primorye are invited to take free basic military training courses

Residents of Primorsky Krai can be trained under the program “Initial military training” on the basis of the educational and methodological center for military-patriotic education of youth “Avangard” of the DOSAAF of Russia. Classes are free, and upon completion of the courses, certificates will be issued on passing the training camp for basic military training.
“Among the subjects of training are general military regulations, combat, physical, tactical, engineering, fire training, military topography, tactical medicine, radiation, chemical and biological protection. Classes are recommended to attend in a comfortable, military or field uniform,”— informs today the press service of the government of Primorsky Krai.
Men over the age of 14 can sign up for training, it is supposed to form groups of students of 30 people. The duration of one course is eight days, classes will be held on weekends.
“The purpose of the classes is to gain basic knowledge of the basics of military service,” a DOSAAF representative explained to Kommersant. He clarified that the firing of live ammunition during the training is not provided.
