A snake no longer than a lace had to be removed from the bathtub of a resident of the Chertanovo district by specialists from the capital’s fire and rescue squad.
The foundling turned out to be a maize snake, which is only a few weeks old.
As it became known to MK, a woman found a snake in her bathroom on Friday morning when she wanted to wash herself. The citizen was not at all frightened – the baby, curled up in a ball, did not cause either wild horror or even slight anxiety. However, she did not want to take such a miracle into her hands at all. At the same time, it was quite obvious to the woman that the amphibian had escaped from one of the neighbors in the air duct. The lady called 112, and the 215th PSO crew went to her.
It is noteworthy that the rescuers did not just save the woman from the uninvited guest. One of the employees even “adopted” the baby: he took him home and immediately ordered a terrarium along with food. Until the owners are found, the young maize snake will live as a guest of a kind rescuer.
