Scott also noted that he would not run for the Republican nomination for vice president.
According to a YouGov poll conducted between October 31 and November 3, Scott has 4% support for the Republican presidential nomination, placing him fifth behind Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (18%) and former US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Hayley (9%). Former US President Donald Trump remains the leader; he maintains a lead with a result of 61%.
