More than 80 representatives of regional public organizations and employees of institutions became participants in a meeting with the leadership of the regional ministry of sports
Representatives of the sports community of Pomorye decided to “check the clock” with the officials. The Minister of Sports of the Arkhangelsk Region Andrey Bagretsov told the participants of the meeting about the development of the sports infrastructure in the region this year.
So, for example, within the framework of the regional program “Development of physical culture and sports in the Arkhangelsk region”, an indoor training arena was put into operation at the stadium “Trud” in the capital of Pomorye (80 million rubles). In 15 municipalities of the region, the arrangement of 21 sports grounds within walking distance (50 million rubles) is being completed. On the basis of the Isakogorsky Youth Center, work is underway to create an indoor hockey court (24.5 million rubles).
Thanks to the participation of Pomorye in the federal project “Sport is the norm of life” of the national project “Demography”, equipment sets for four new TRP sites were purchased this year, as well as an open-type sports and recreation complex in Pinega and a gym at the Kargopol Industrial College, the construction of the Ice Palace is being completed in Koryazhma.
As part of another federal project, “Business Sprint (I Choose Sports),” equipment is being purchased to create two “smart” sports grounds. They will be equipped in 2023 in the village of Malye Karely, Primorsky District, and Severodvinsk.
In addition, in 2022, a street basketball center will be equipped in Arkhangelsk, design documentation for the creation of an indoor ice arena in Severodvinsk is being developed, and work is underway on a number of other projects.
Particular attention at the meeting with sports federations was also paid to the upcoming digital transformation of the entire sports sector in Russia and medical support for athletes.
