At the Kursk karting track on April 22, competitions were held as part of the first stage of the championship and championship of the Chernozem region in karting. More than 50 young pilots from Kursk and the Kursk region, as well as Orel, Voronezh, Novovoronezh, Lipetsk, Moscow, Stary Oskol, Gubkin, Belgorod, Tula, Tambov and Yelets took part in the races.
16 athletes took part in speed competitions from the Nightingale Territory.
Aleksey Smorodinov and Petr Turishchev won the individual competition in the KZ2 and KZ1 classes. In the class “Super MINI GR3” honorary silver went to Viktor Volokitin. At the same time, Maryana Evdokimova from Kursk became the second in the Cadet 4T class.
Third place in different classes was taken by five representatives of the Kursk region at once – Mikhail Denisov, Daniil Varlamov, Nikolai Apostolov, Egor Rakov and Daniil Grechanovsky.
“And in the team standings, the first place went to the Kursk karting school,” the city administration noted.
