Repair of roads dug up during the Wagner rebellion in the Lipetsk region cost half a million rubles

Damage to roads in the Lipetsk region, which were dug up on June 24 while the equipment of the private military company (PMC) Wagner was moving through the region, amounted to 416 thousand rubles. This was told to Kommersant by sources in the regional government.

In order to stop the movement of the convoy of vehicles towards Moscow, more than 200 sq. m of roadbed on five road sections. On the evening of June 24, when it became known that PMC forces were returning to field camps, the authorities began to restore them. In the neighboring Voronezh region damage from the actions of PMCs was estimated at 4-5 million rubles. In one of the districts of the region, a little more than 20 residential buildings, several outbuildings and cars were damaged as a result of a shootout. Four people were injured, they were paid 100 thousand rubles each.

More serious damage to PMC technicians brought roads in the Rostov region. The authorities of Rostov-on-Don reported that road repairs cost 28.8 million rubles, and 63.7 million rubles. will be required to restore utility vehicles damaged during the mutiny. Military equipment of PMC “Wagner” damaged 12 thousand square meters in Rostov. m of roadway and 210 sq. m sidewalk.
