The authorities of the Republic of Buryatia will change the rules for issuing free firewood for relatives of the mobilized. As stated in his Telegram channel the head of the region Aleksey Tsydenov, the mobilized themselves, whom he visited at the training center in the Zaporozhye region, made corresponding complaints.
“I talked to the guys. They had no questions regarding provision and preparation. There were more domestic questions, in particular, on the issuance of firewood. The rules that we have adopted are not the best, and many of the relatives cannot get firewood. Let’s change the rules,” said Alexey Tsydenov.
Mr. Tsydenov did not explain in more detail how the authorities of Buryatia intend to change the procedure for issuing free firewood to the relatives of the mobilized. The press service of the government of Buryatia reported to Kommersant that the current rules apply to single mothers of the mobilized, as well as elderly parents over 60 years old. For each such family, 10 cubic meters of firewood are issued. Families living in territories equated to the regions of the Far North can receive 20 cubic meters each.
