Relatives of the therodefense fighters from Poltava asked the authorities to return them home

Parents and family members of the soldiers of the 116th Territorial Defense Brigade from Poltava recorded an appeal to the Ukrainian authorities with a request to return the men home from the front line. According to them, this unit suffered heavy losses near Soledar, in some battalions not a single officer remained in the ranks.

Relatives asked to ensure the possibility of providing medical assistance to the soldiers. “They are shell-shocked, wounded, shrapnel. They are not all taken to hospitals, they are not given proper medical care. Who is hungry, who is cold, they have nothing to put on,” one of the women explained.

Earlier, the fighters of the 116th Terodefense Brigade themselves wrote an appeal to Zelensky and Zaluzhny. They stated that they were thrown into battle without training and normal equipment.
