The Election Commission of Khakassia canceled the registration of Sergei Sokol as a candidate for the head of the republic from United Russia. The State Duma deputy withdrew from the elections due to health problems.

After that, three names will remain in them: the current head of the region Valentin Konovalov (KPRF), the deputy of the Supreme Council Mikhail Molchanov (LDPR) and the general director of Irbis Aviation Plant LLC Vladimir Grudinin (Communists of Russia). According to the INSOMAR study, 40% of electorally active voters were going to vote for Mr. Konovalov, and 41% for Mr. Sokol.
