Registration of schoolchildren for the All-Russian Olympiad “Technology of Success” has started

Registration of schoolchildren for the first, remote stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren “Technology of Success” has begun. Children aged from seven to eighteen years old can take part in it (two age categories are provided: 7 – 11 years old and 12 – 18 years old).
The All-Russian Olympiad “Technology of Success” is part of the All-Russian Grand Olympiad “Art – Technology – Sport”, which takes place as part of the Decade of Science and Technology. Last year the competition was held in the direction of “Art”, this year it was decided to hold it in the direction of “Technology”.
The first three distance stages of the Olympiad – school, municipal and regional – will be held until May 31, 2023. The federal stage will be divided into two parts: first, qualifying competitions in the regions, then the super final. It will last until December 31, 2023. As the organizers of the Olympiad noted, firstly, the tasks provide for both individual and team participation. Secondly, the children will have to solve thematic tasks using logic and critical thinking, write code for a microcontroller, draw up electrical circuits, create projects on such tracks as the production of the future, the development of transport systems, space, medicine of the future, new media.
As Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov noted, this year, within the framework of the Olympiad, children will be able not only to test their knowledge, but also to get acquainted with the whole variety of professions, as well as communicate with scientists and engineers, learn from their experience, ask them questions and translate their ideas into reality.
