A law on the mandatory registration of pet dogs came into force in the Moscow region, TASS reports.
Now, after registration, each animal will receive a personal number, and information about the dog will be taken into account in the relevant pet registry of the region.
According to plans, this should help in the search for lost dogs, as well as strengthening the responsibility of people for their pets.
To undergo the procedure, you must contact a veterinary institution or use the public services portal, the report says.
