The international cycling project Gran Fondo will open the season in Volokolamsk. The first race will take place on May 7, 2023. This was reported in the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Moscow Region.
Gran Fondo is a series of cycling races that brings together professionals and amateurs. The festival has been held in Russia since 2016. During this time, more than 15 thousand people became its participants. The organizers are laying routes through picturesque locations. The race combines a race and a great bike ride.
In 2023, races will be held in 5 different locations: Volokolamsk, Serpukhov, Peresvet, Yakhroma and Ruza. Registration for the first race is already open.
