Registration for the Alexander Bolshunov Cup has started in the Moscow region

Today, February 6, the acceptance of applications for participation in the “Cup of three-time Olympic champion Alexander Bolshunov” opened in the Moscow region. This was announced by the Ministry of Physical Education and Sports of the Moscow Region. The competition will take place on February 20 on the ski track of the Istina sports school, located in the village of Golovino, Istra urban district.
Information regarding registration for the tournament is posted on the department’s website. Participation in the competition is free, the number of places is limited.
Young skiers from all over the Moscow region under 18 years old traditionally compete in the Cup. For six age categories there are several distances of 500 m, 1 km, 2 km, 3 km and 5 km. The youngest group can include beginner skiers up to eight years old.
The winners will receive awards and gifts from the organizer of the competition, three-time Olympic champion and two-time World Cup winner Alexander Bolshunov.
