Regional stages of professional skills championships have started

The regional stage of the All-Russian championship movement in professional skills “Professionals” and the Championship of High Technologies have started in Moscow. Students of secondary vocational schools, as well as schoolchildren over 14 years old, can take part in them.
The competitive program will be held in 248 competencies. As Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov noted, the regional stages of the championship will be held in all regions of Russia.
— Carrying out championships in professional skills contributes to the development of secondary vocational education. It demonstrates high standards in the field of training in all areas, based on the needs of business and employers. The developments that are tested within the framework of competitions subsequently find their place in the educational process. This, in turn, plays an important role in strengthening staffing and solving strategic tasks for the development of various sectors of the economy, the minister specified.
The regional stage will last until May 1. The High-Tech Championship final will take place in Veliky Novgorod in September. The final of the All-Russian championship movement in professional skills “Professionals” will be held in November in St. Petersburg.
