Regional competitions on simulators for drone pilots will be held in Perm

On May 27, at the site of the collective work space “Boiling Point – Perm”, in the simulator format, regional racing competitions for pilots of small drones – drone racing will be held for the first time. This is an innovative sport – the participants demonstrate the ability to control a flying drone, overcoming various elements of the track and performing aerobatics, using the latest control technologies, the organizers explained.
Regional competitions will serve as a qualifying stage for face-to-face competitions and national competitions, which will be held at the Archipelago 2023 design and educational intensive in Novosibirsk in the summer.
Pilots of the Permian races will have to pass qualifying flights, and then, in a limited time, show the best result on the tracks on each of the four simulators. According to the results, the best pilots will be identified and awarded. To resolve disputes during flights, all screens that control the flights of the simulators will be recorded. Online broadcast of the event will be available after registration.
Pilots from 14 years old can participate in the competition. Applications are accepted until 18:00 May 25, registration for website.
