Regional competition of young hockey players “Golden Puck” will be held in Krasnodar

In the coming days, the Golden Puck competition for young hockey players will start in the Kuban capital. This information was shared in the press service of the regional administration.
It is specified that the competition will begin at the Ice Palace on January 21. On this day, hockey players born in 2006-2007 will compete for the title of the strongest.
Competitions among hockey players of the senior group will be held from January 25 to 29 in the village of Kushchevskaya. In the same place, from February 1 to 5, participants of the middle age group will go on the ice, and from February 8 to 12 – the younger one.
According to the deputy head of the region, Alexander Vlasov, hockey is still one of the main sports in the Krasnodar Territory. Nearly 3,000 people are engaged in it in the region. Every year about 15 hockey championships are organized in the Kuban.
The Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Krasnodar Territory, Serafim Timchenko, wished the participants of the Golden Puck good luck and also stressed that, despite the southern sun, winter sports, including hockey, are actively developing in the region.
Last fall, MK in the Kuban talked about First Governor’s Hockey Cup, which took place in the regional center. Recall that teams not only from the Krasnodar Territory, but also from the Rostov Region and Sevastopol fought for the main prize.
