Zenit head coach Sergei Semak commented on the results of the match with Wings of the Soviets. According to him, in the beginning, far from everything went smoothly for the Petersburgers, but the team managed to win a strong-willed victory.

When asked whether to expect an all-Russian record for goals in the RPL from the player, Semak replied that while the team is “doing its job”, records should be considered after the tournament is over.
