The reconstruction of the platform and the Kalanchevskoye overpass adjacent from the south with the installation of additional railway tracks began in 2020. The passenger platform of the stopping point is located within walking distance from three railway stations: Leningradsky, Yaroslavsky and Kazansky.

said mayor. “Today, this gives full confidence that the MCD-4 will be launched this year. Trains will run every three minutes. We have already restored traffic at MCD-2, where trains ran at an increased interval due to reconstruction,” he said.

Mr. Belozerov called the project unique. According to him, the new transport hubs should be called Moscow city stations. “Practically all conditions have been created here for passengers, including escalators and elevators,” said the head of Russian Railways.

Work on the Ploshchad trekh vokzalov — Kurskaya section was completed in June, a year and a half earlier than according to the original plan. The opening of new surface metro diameters – MCD-3 “Leningradsko-Kazansky” and MCD-4 “Kaluzhsko-Nizhny Novgorod” is scheduled for this year.
