The growth of average accrued wages adjusted for inflation (real wages) in January 2024 amounted to 8.5%, reported Rosstat. In December 2023, this figure was also 8.5%.

The average monthly salary in January 2024 increased by 16.6% compared to January 2023, it amounted to 75 thousand 34 rubles. In 2023, the average salary increased by 7.8%. In 2022, the figure grew by 0.3%.

At the end of February Rosstat reportedthat the average monthly salary in nominal terms in December 2023 was 103,815 rubles, an increase of 16.6% compared to December 2022. The leaders in the growth of average monthly nominal wages in nominal terms in 2023 were manufacturers of clothing, electrical equipment, finished metal products, computers, electronic and optical products.
