RBC: The Kremlin advised the regions to show restraint in spending on the New Year holidays

Support for patriotic musicians, mentioning the heroism of the defenders of the fatherland and showing restraint in spending should include New Year’s events in the regions of Russia, follows from the recommendations of the presidential administration, which he read RBC. The Kremlin believes that New Year’s fairs can be used as a tool for social consolidation and meeting the needs of military personnel in Ukraine.
The recipients of the document prepared by the Presidential Administration, according to the newspaper, were regional authorities, state-owned companies and cultural institutions. Children’s Christmas trees should become an element of New Year’s events, the format of which should not undergo significant changes. However, the authorities of the constituent entities are recommended to provide for the mention of military personnel during children’s holidays and the opportunity to send them congratulations on behalf of the child.
Regional administrations and the media are also encouraged to support “patriotic” artists. Among them are the following musicians and groups: “City 312”, Polina Gagarina, Oleg and Rodion Gazmanov, Grigory Leps, Shaman, Denis Maidanov, Alexander Marshal and Yulia Chicherina. All of them publicly supported the fighting in Ukraine and/or participated in events organized by the authorities under the slogan of approving the military operation in Ukraine.
A recommendation was sent to cultural institutions to organize a “more restrained program of festive events” and the formation of “propaganda teams” to congratulate children who are in hospitals or temporary accommodation centers.
State-owned companies, as follows from the document, are invited to abandon “large-scale expensive holidays and expensive entertainment.” The list of recommendations for all regional institutions is united by the fact that all organizational innovations include provisions on various forms of support for combatants in Ukraine.
