RBC: Doguzova refused the post of curator of tourism in the Ministry of Economy

The former head of the abolished Rostourism, Zarina Doguzova, refused to take the post of deputy head of the Ministry of Economy for the tourism industry offered to her. Told about it RBC sources close to Rostourism and the Ministry of Economy. The reason for this decision is not known.

According to one of the sources, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko offered Zarina Doguzova the post of tourism curator at the Ministry of Economy immediately after her department was liquidated by presidential decree. Ms. Doguzova thought about the proposal for three weeks, the source said.

Rostourism was abolished by presidential decree on 20 October. Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov spokethat the further career of the head of the abolished department depends on herself. Rostourism was founded in 2004. According to Mr. Peskov, the work of the abolished department was highly appreciated.
