Razvozhaev: an air attack warning algorithm has been developed in Sevastopol

Members of the operational headquarters in Sevastopol have developed a mechanism for alerting residents about the threat of air attacks. The city uses three types of alerts: reported Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev in his Telegram channel.
“At the moment the signal is received, you have 30 to 50 minutes to calmly complete all actions <...> to ensure personal safety (go to shelters or stay at home, following instructions). <...> As soon as we receive information about an air raid alert from the military, I personally give the command to launch the signal,” noted the head of Sevastopol.
After the command, the Unified Duty Dispatch Service (EDDS) will begin warning through sirens and loudspeakers, and will also intercept broadcasts on federal television channels. In addition, information about the threat of an air strike will be published on the governor’s Telegram channel. Next, EDDS will distribute the alarm signal on the regional channels “STV”, “Sevastopol-24”, “Vesti Sevastopol”, “First Sevastopol”, “NTS”, as well as in the cable television system “SevStar”, on the radio “Sevastopol FM” on the frequency 102.0 FM and “Vesti FM Sevastopol” at a frequency of 90.8 FM.
Razvozhaev noted that SMS messages will not be used for notification. Messages reach subscribers within an hour – too long for an alarm, the governor explained.
The head of Sevastopol also explained the algorithm for canceling the air raid warning. As soon as the military informs the authorities that the threat has passed, the EDDS will turn off the sirens and issue an all-clear signal on TV and radio. It differs from the signal about the threat of an attack in its visual and voice design, Razvozhaev noted.
On September 22, Ukrainian troops launched a missile attack on Sevastopol. The Russian Armed Forces shot down five shells of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The historical headquarters building of the Black Sea Fleet was damaged. The military announced one dead soldier, but then clarified that he was still listed as missing.
