Two properties owned by rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs in Los Angeles and Miami were searched Monday by federal Homeland Security agents and other law enforcement officials as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.
This was reported by the Associated Press, citing sources in law enforcement agencies. Officials said the searches were related to a sex trafficking investigation conducted by federal authorities in New York.
It is not yet known whether the artist himself is involved in the case. Its representatives have also not yet commented on the searches. Several sexual assault lawsuits have been filed against the rapper known as Puff Daddy in recent months, including a lawsuit from R&B singer Cassie that was settled last year. Another of Combs’ accusers was a woman who said the rap producer raped her two decades ago when she was 17.
