Rapper Legalize was not allowed on a Polish plane because of his Russian passport

Rapper Andrei Menshikov (pseudonym Legalize) wrote on Instagram (owned by Meta, whose activities are recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned) about the postponement of his performance in Montenegro due to the fact that the Polish airline LOT did not allow him to board the plane because of his Russian passport. At the same time, the executive noted that he does not consider this decision discriminatory.
“…The company refused passengers with Russian passports. I am forced to postpone the concert in Budva. I don’t feel any negativity towards the air carrier’s decision…” said Menshikov.
In addition, the musician clarified that the event will be rescheduled to a later date, so all tickets remain valid.
The rapper also said that he does not consider his “suffering” commensurate with what the citizens of Ukraine are now experiencing.
At the end of summer, the capital’s prosecutor’s office began an investigation into the rapper Legalize for discrediting the Russian army. Some media sources reported that the musician could be recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation: this issue is also being investigated. Law enforcement agencies are also checking the video for his song “Peace!! Yours!! Home!!” regarding the production and distribution of extremist materials.
