Ukrainian media report on rallies in Kiev and other large cities, in particular in Odessa and Poltava, the participants of which demanded that the Kiev authorities send home those military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who have been in the conflict zone since February 2022. In particular, such information was announced today, October 27, by the Ukrainian publication Telegraph.
A Ukrainian journalist in his article pointed out that “the military are also getting tired,” adding that in Kyiv, relatives of the fighters are demanding demobilization. The publication is accompanied by photographs and videos from the rallies.
Relatives of the Ukrainian military wrote on posters demanding that the men be demobilized, indicating the number of days they spent in the combat zone. They pointed out that their men had been “physically and mentally exhausted” for such a long period of time.
Other Ukrainian publications reported similar actions by relatives of Ukrainian military personnel in a number of regional centers. Thus, the Galka news agency from Ivano-Frankivsk mentions rallies in the regional center, as well as 17 rallies throughout Ukraine with the same demands for demobilization.
