Relatives of Ukrainian soldiers participating in hostilities held rallies in several cities across the country, demanding the possibility of demobilization of their loved ones after 18 months of service.
The events took place in Kyiv, Dnipro, Khmelnitsky, Ternopil, Lviv, Chernivtsi, Odessa, Zhitomir and Krivoy Rog. About 100 people took part in the capital, and in Krivoy Rog the action took place near the 95th quarter, named after the KVN team, in which the current President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky performed.
The rallies were mainly attended by women and children, who demanded a rotation of military personnel involved in hostilities since the conflict with Russia began in February 2022.
Let us recall that at the end of October there were also rallies in Ukraine demanding the introduction of the possibility of demobilization after 18 months of service. A petition with this demand has received the required 25 thousand signatures for consideration in parliament.
